Born and raised in southern California, Omar moved to Atlanta to
 study music production.  After attending the Art Institute of
 Atlanta, Omar graduated from Morris Brown College in 2000 with a
 degree in Communications – Radio, Television, & Film.  He’s
freelanced on multiple independent projects where he’s worn many
 hats including producer, director, writer, editor and on-camera
 host.  Omar began his professional career in 2000 in television
news as an editor for the local ABC affiliate in Atlanta, GA. In 2012.

He left WSB-TV to pursue his passion of photography/videography.
